6. Private Messaging With Verified Businesses (Transparency; Access; Not Confidential From the Chamber).
- a) Feature Description. For directory listings that have a verified owner, logged-in members may send private messages to that owner through the Services. Messages form a conversation thread between the participating member(s) and the verified business representative.

- c) Chamber Administrator Access. Chamber administrators can access and review all Business Messaging conversations on the platform, including message content and related metadata, for safety, abuse prevention, dispute resolution, member support, and compliance with applicable law or lawful requests.
- d) Not Confidential From the Chamber; User Caution. You should not consider Business Messaging confidential from the Chamber. Do not share passwords, full payment card numbers, or highly sensitive Personal Information in Business Messaging; use appropriate secure channels when needed.
- e) Abuse and Enforcement. We may rate-limit messaging, lock conversations, suspend accounts, or take other action if we detect spam, harassment, illegal content, or violations of our terms. Where available, you may use in-product reporting options.
7. Retention; Deletion.
We retain Personal Information, including Business Messaging data, for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, administer membership, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize Personal Information where required by applicable law and practicable, subject to lawful retention needs (including security, dispute resolution, and compliance).
8. California Privacy Rights; Requests.
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain Personal Information. You may also have the right to receive information about our collection, use, and disclosure practices. You may submit requests using the contact method in Section 10. We may need to verify your identity and/or account before processing a request and may deny or limit requests as permitted by law (for example, where necessary to comply with legal obligations or to protect security and integrity).
