Chamber Certification & AWTCC
The Monterey Park Chamber of Commerce, through a collaboration with the American World Trade Chamber of Commerce (AWTCC), offers electronically stamped trade documents—including certificates of origin, certificates of free sale, and other key trade documents. Certificates issued through the MP Chamber Digital Certification Program align with standards set by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
Documents covered
The certificate of origin is the most common document businesses need. You can also submit other materials for chamber certification—such as certificates of free sale, invoices, manufacturer's declarations, and other documents that may need to be stamped, signed, and issued by a chamber of commerce.
Apostille & legalization
Some countries require additional steps—such as notarization, apostille, or presentation to an embassy for legalization. Through Chamber Certification, exporters can request that documents receive this extra processing for the country you are shipping to.
