Miss Monterey Park Pageant Returns After 14 Years and Crowns 2026 Winners
After a 14-year break, the Miss Monterey Park Pageant returned on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the Courtyard by Marriott Monterey Park. The Monterey Park Chamber of Commerce presented a well-attended evening that brought back a community tradition and introduced the first Miss Teen Monterey Park competition.
In the weeks before the pageant, contestants trained in etiquette, skincare and beauty, runway, public speaking, and Q&A. On pageant night they competed in self-introductions, a talent showcase, and an onstage Q&A. The program also included a history of the pageant, recognition of former Miss Monterey Park contestants, and a special opera performance by Yang Ping.
“Leadership is not defined by a title, but by how we use our talents and opportunities to make a positive difference in the lives of others,” wrote Joleen Tu, Esq., Chamber President and Pageant Chair, in her welcome letter.
